Lone Worker Protection - from £5 per month

Employers are now legally required to ensure a Duty of Care’ to all employees.  With mobile line rental rates starting at £15.00 (plus tariff) it is very expensive for an organisation to protect all of their staff whilst they are working alone or away from the office. Whether people are working on a fixed site or in various locations an employee has a duty of care towards their employee. Our solutions will cover you for evey eventuality regardless of locatity.

Lone Workers should not be at more risk than other employees.

The legislation:

  • Employers have a Duty of Care for the health, safety and welfare at work of all their employees. They are also responsible for the health and safety of those involved in or affected by work activities, for example visitors and sub-contractors.
  • This ‘Duty of Care’ cannot be transferred to any other person, including those people who work alone. It is the employer’s duty to assess risks to lone workers and take steps to avoid or control risks where necessary.
  • Employees also have a duty to take reasonable care of themselves and other people affected by their work activities and to co-operate with their employers in meeting their legal obligations.
